GHNI had run over 100 projects and have opened doors to bring sustainable and transformational assistance to communities in Africa, Asia and the Middle East.

The Social Media Team as of 2015 are all volunteers, we contribute time to reach out and engage audience via multiple channels.

I’m excited to contribute to GHNI for their good work and look forward to their staff and the social media team.

Rock, Paper & Scissors in JavaScript

The code:

var userChoice = prompt(“Do you choose rock, paper or scissors?”);
var computerChoice = Math.random();
if (computerChoice < 0.34) {
computerChoice = “rock”;
} else if(computerChoice <= 0.67) {
computerChoice = “paper”;
} else {
computerChoice = “scissors”;
}
console.log(“Computer: ” + computerChoice);
var compare = function(userChoice, computerChoice) {
if (userChoice == computerChoice)
{
return “The result is a tie!”;
}

else if (userChoice == “rock”) {
if (computerChoice == “scissors”) {
return “rock wins”;
}
else {
return “paper wins”;
}
}
else if (userChoice == “paper”) {
if (computerChoice == “rock”) {
return “paper wins”;
}
else {
return “scissors wins”;
}
}
else if (userChoice == “scissors”) {
if (computerChoice == “rock”) {
return “rock wins”;
}
else {
return “scissors wins”;
}
}
}
compare(userChoice, computerChoice);

How it actually looks with correct formatting:

Rock, Paper & Scissors

Success = Product X Marketing

Some people simplify how to make a successful campaign by the definition:

Success = Product x Marketing

Coursera: Introduction to Marketing
Coursera: Introduction to Marketing

That is you make great product that people want and you launch an effective marketing program. The combination of the two will make good sale for the product.

Of course this is like a metaphor to put something complicated to simple. For a consumer product launch, I think Product & Marketing is the nutshell.

For a B2B (Business to Business) environment, sales plays a key role also. Of course we’ll need to add customer services, support etc …

After 3 months of mostly early mornings and some late nights, I completed my Introduction to Marketing with Wharton University of Pennsyvania.

Started October 2013 - Ended December 2013
Started October 2013 – Ended December 2013

The course was better than I expect with good video lectures, plenty of chance to test your knowledge with quizzes and interaction with other students.

Great job to Coursera and the Professors (whose names are on the certificate) involved!
